I was thinking of Eisenman’s essays on “interiority” of the building, the drawing, and the diagram. I cross-bred that with Evans’ Translation from Drawing to Building to begin a series of hand drawn explorations of the inherent diagramming protocol of the architectural drawing.
I see these as informing themselves as well as the general discourse of the artifact of architecture… noting of course Evans position that anything the architect’s hand creates is indeed architecture itself…
so explains [hopefully] the next series of postings...
